THE Premier Cutlery GUARANTEE
All our products are covered by a guarantee under which any product found to be defective in normal uses shall be repaired or replaced completely free of charge. This guarantee is in addition to the customer’s statutory rights.

Should you wish to return or exchange any item it would be most helpful if you could contact our Customer Services Department first, as there are occasions when it may be unnecessary for you to be inconvenienced by sending an item back.

If you've placed an order by mistake, or wish to cancel your order for any reason, please call our Customer Services Department 0114 2726521 or email us at enquiries@premiercutlery.co.uk within 24 hours of placing your order.

Customer Satisfaction
If for any reason you are not entirely satisfied, with our products or our service, then please do not hesitate to contact us so that we can immediately rectify the problem.
Our Customer Services telephone line, 0114 2726521, is personally manned Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 5.00pm. Outside these hours, we have an answering service that will take a note of any queries and orders.

When you place an order with us we use sagepay the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK, to provide secure online credit card and debit card processing. You will see a padlock at the bottom right of your browser. This shows that your data is being encrypted using the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption method which is the recognised standard for secure transactions..

Premier Cutlery will never request information that is excessive for our purpose, and we try, with your help, to keep any information we hold about you up to date and accurate. Any information we store that is no longer relevant will be deleted after a reasonable length of time. You can request, at any time, that we stop using your information by notifying our Customer Services Department on 0114 2726521 or at enquiries@premiercutlery.co.uk.

PRODUCT AVAILABILITY
Goods will normally be despatched within 2 working days.
We do our best to ensure availability of all our products. If, however, we are unable to supply an item, we will inform you of the delay and the expected delivery date. All outstanding products are held on file and we will despatch them under separate cover as soon as they become available. You will not be charged for this separate delivery.
Occasionally we find ourselves having to cancel and withdraw an item. In these circumstances we will inform you immediately.

Age Verification
Under the Offensive Weapons Act 1996, knives must not be sold to anyone under the age of 18. By placing an order for knives the purchaser is agreeing that he/she is over 18 years of age.PremierCutlery takes active measures to ensure that all customers are of legal age in the UK for purchasing knives (18 years old). By placing an order on this website you are giving permission for an identity check to be performed to confirm that you are over 18 years of age. In a small number of cases the checks that we carry out are not able to verify the age of some customers. If this applies to you we will contact you for further information to confirm you are at least 18 years old.

PAYMENT AND PRICING
Payment over the Internet can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, Solo, Switch, Visa Debit/Delta, Visa Electron through SagePay, the largest independent Payment Service Provider in the UK. All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and include Value Added Tax (VAT) at UK rates. It may be necessary to adjust the prices in the event of an increase or decrease in VAT rates, or as a result of an international price increase. Customers are entitled to a full refund if this is not acceptable.

DELIVERY

For most items the pricing is:
For orders less than £40.00 £4.50
For orders greater than £39.99 POST FREE
However in some cases where the product is heavy, eg wooden knife blocks, we may need to charge more. In this case we will email you to this effect and you will be able to agree the increased postage charge or have your order cancelled and be refunded. Any increased postage charge will be notified to you within 2 working day.
NB: The vast majority of our products fall into the first category.
